Devil Inside demo contains adult language and is extremely violent. Because the Parental Lock feature has not been connected yet, please be advised that Cryo Interactive Entertainment or GameSquad are not responsible for any injury this demo may cause.
Configuration
Pentium II class PC with 3D Card (Banshee, Voodoo 3, Matrox G400, TNT2, GeForce...), CD ROM, mouse, 16 bits soundcard required. Proper up-to-date Microsoft certified drivers must have been installed.
MS-Windows 95/98 or higher with DirectX 6.1 - 64 Mo RAM preferred.
How to install
If Windows is not configured for Autorun CD feature, open the CD-ROM drive folder and double click on Setup.exe. It will start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen.
Windows settings
Make sure you have no other application running in background, since they may prevent Devil Inside from running.
screensavers, downloading applications and sound players may make it impossible to launch the game.
Controls
All controls are relative to QWERTY keyboard.
1,2,.... Press each to change your weapon This demo includes the gun on the 1 key. You'll find 2 other weapons available on key 3 and 5. In this demo version the player's got unlimited ammo.
Enter to toggle main screen camera
M When you aim a character, press M to get a slow camera action.
Arrow to move (double press and keep pressed up arrow to run)
Ctrl to perform action or shoot
Space to take/store weapon
Mouse to move hero head (viewing / shooting target)
Left click is equal to Ctrl / Right click is equal to Space
End (or mouse wheel) : go down.
End + Up arrow makes a forward roll from stand
End + down arrow makes a forward roll from down
F1,F2 and F3 display alternative monitors on the right side of the screen. Press F1 to activate and toggle among alternative cameras for the first screen, F2 for second screen and F3 for third screen. Available type of view are third person view, scripting view and cameraman view.
Escape to exit to main menu
Main menu
Many menu features such as Credits, View Intro are not implemented yet.
Game comments
For this demo, we have intentionally restricted the adventure sequences and privileged the action. Inventory feature has been disconnected. Scripted interactions have been intentionally restricted. You may be able to trigger events using the action key (Ctrl) or left click - weapon must be deactivated -
